Few-Shot Academy is responsible for the website data described here. For privacy questions or a request concerning information you submitted, email [email protected] or use the contact form.

At a glance​

• You do not need an account, and the website does not collect payment-card information.
• Google Analytics is optional. Its tag does not load unless you select Allow analytics.
• Course progress and quiz results stay in your browser and are not synchronized to our server.
• Contact and feedback submissions are stored so they can be read and acted on.

What is collected​

Optional Google Analytics​

Few-Shot Academy uses Google Analytics 4 only after you allow it. Google may then process page addresses, a cookie-based client identifier, session statistics, approximate location, and browser/device information. Google Analytics can set _ga and related _ga_* cookies, which may remain for up to two years unless you clear them or withdraw your choice.

The site also records selected interactions, such as starting or completing a lesson, following the next-lesson link, submitting a quiz, opening a lab, or moving between blog, career, interview, and curriculum pages. These custom events use stable content identifiers. They do not contain:

• Quiz answers or scores
• Contact or feedback messages
• Email addresses
• The contents of locally saved course progress
• A custom account or user identifier
• URL query strings or fragments

Advertising storage, advertising user data, and advertising personalization are denied in the site's Google tag configuration. Read Google's description of Analytics data collection and the Google Privacy Policy.

You can decline analytics and still use the entire curriculum. Use Privacy settings in the footer to change your choice. Withdrawing disables future analytics activity and removes Google Analytics cookies that the website can access. Clearing browser data also removes your saved choice, so the site will ask again.

Aggregate page counts​

For curriculum and career pages, the server increments a first-party aggregate counter. It stores the page path, total count, and last-viewed time. It does not add an IP address, cookie, browser identifier, or other visitor identifier to that counter.

Contact and feedback submissions​

Contact submissions are stored in Cloudflare D1. If you provide an email, it is used to respond to that submission. Email is optional. A copy of the submission is sent through Cloudflare Email Routing to the Few-Shot Academy contact inbox.

Feedback submissions are also stored in Cloudflare D1 and copied to the contact inbox. The feedback form does not request an email address. Avoid placing contact details or sensitive information in its free-text fields.

There is currently no automatic deletion schedule for contact or feedback database records or their notification emails. They are retained unless you request deletion or a deletion process is introduced. To request deletion, email [email protected] with enough information to locate the submission. This notice will be updated when an automatic retention process is established.

Cloudflare Turnstile​

The contact page uses Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce automated spam. The application sends the challenge token and connecting IP address to Cloudflare for verification. Cloudflare may process browser and environment signals for this security check. The application does not store the IP address in its contact or feedback database tables.

Browser storage​

The site uses browser storage to remember course progress, completed quiz results, theme choice, and whether optional analytics is allowed. This information stays on that browser unless the relevant feature explicitly says otherwise. It is not synchronized between devices. Clearing site data removes it.

This functional storage remains available when analytics is declined because it provides features you request, such as remembering completed lessons.

GitHub comments​

Blog comments are provided by Giscus and GitHub Discussions. The embed does not load automatically. If you select Load GitHub comments, your browser connects to GitHub and GitHub may process account, cookie, device, and usage information under the GitHub General Privacy Statement.

Service providers and international access​

Google processes optional analytics. Cloudflare hosts the site infrastructure, stores form submissions, routes notification email, and provides Turnstile. GitHub hosts the source repository and, when requested, blog comments. These providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live under their own terms and transfer mechanisms.

Course labs may let you choose external model providers. Inputs you send from a lab go to the provider you choose, not through the Few-Shot Academy website. See the Disclaimer and that provider's privacy terms before sending sensitive information.

Your choices and requests​

You can:

• Decline optional analytics without losing access to the site.
• Change or withdraw the analytics choice through Privacy settings in the footer.
• Clear local progress, quiz results, and preferences through your browser's site-data controls.
• Ask about, correct, or request deletion of information you submitted by contacting [email protected].
• Contact your local data-protection authority if you believe applicable privacy rights were not respected.

We may need enough information to find the relevant submission and avoid deleting someone else's information. We will not ask for more identification than is reasonably needed for that purpose.

Children​

Few-Shot Academy does not require accounts and is not designed to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child submitted personal information, contact us so it can be reviewed and deleted where appropriate.

Security and changes​

Reasonable technical measures are used to limit and protect collected information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. This notice will be updated when data practices or service providers materially change. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
